Product Overview
On August 21, 2017 there was a total solar eclipse crossing the entire United States and the best vantage point to view this historic event is in Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. In commemoration of this event Jackson Hole Pendleton has produced a special blanket woven by Pendleton Woolen Mills and designed by world renowned astronomer Dr. Tyler Nordgren. The top of the blanket shows the total eclipse of the sun with the rays of the sunlight behind the eclipse filtering down to the Tetons. Jackson Lake is below the peaks of the Tetons and the Snake River passes through the spruce and lodge pole pine trees.
The first 150 blankets produced were a "Collectors Edition" signed by Dr. Nordgren. That edition sold out quickly!
Woven in the USA by Pendleton Woolen Mills. 82% pure virgin wool/ 18% cotton. Unapped. Dry Clean Only.
